The full fury of firebombing and napalm was unleashed on the night of March 9-10, 1945 when LeMay sent 334 B-29s low over Tokyo from the Marianas. Their mission was to reduce the city to rubble, kill its citizens, and instill terror in the survivors, with jellied gasoline and napalm that would create a sea of flames. Stripped of their guns to make more room for bombs, and flying at altitudes averaging 7,000 feet to evade detection, the bombers, which had been designed for high-altitude precision attacks, carried two kinds of incendiaries: M47s, 100-pound oil gel bombs, 182 per aircraft, each capable of starting a major fire, followed by M69s, 6-pound gelled-gasoline bombs, 1,520 per aircraft in addition to a few high explosives to deter firefighters. The attack on an area that the US Strategic Bombing Survey estimated to be 84.7 percent residential succeeded beyond the wildest dreams of air force planners. Whipped by fierce winds, flames detonated by the bombs leaped across a fifteen square mile area of Tokyo generating immense firestorms that engulfed and killed scores of thousands of residents.

　　戦後、ユダヤ人は自分たちを犠牲者のシンボルにして、うまく振る舞った。これは言論戦に勝利したということです。ですから日本人も、殺害された数はユダヤ人に劣りません、ジェノサイダル（genocidal:大量虐殺・民族絶滅）絨毯爆撃を受け、原爆ホロコーストの被害も受けましたと、堂々と言わなければダメ。彼らから言葉を奪って使うべきです。

　そこで私は、英語で書いた本、フランスで出された雑誌記事でも、東京の爆撃などについて、すべてホロコーストという言葉を使っています…

　私はホロコーストを動詞として使い、「Tokyo was a holocausted city」と書きました。今度は全部に使おうと思っている。「Atomic holocaust in Hiroshima」「Atomic holocaust in Nagasaki」それから「Bombing holocaust in Tokyo」。東京以外でも、無差別爆撃を受けた都市ならどこでも使えます。

　アメリカは、最初から日本を爆撃するつもりで、日本の木造家屋の焼け方を研究し、焼夷弾を開発しました。日本人もアメリカの爆撃に対しジェノサイダル・ボミンクだったと言えばいい。ジェノサイド（民族皆殺し）という言葉を使うと、相手はびっくりします。しかし事実として、目的がジェノサイダルであり、無差別な空爆はホロコーストだった。

　…ホロコーストの語源は「焼く」です。アウシュビッツほか、毒ガスで殺したのは、本当はホロコーストではない。ユダヤ教の儀式で燔祭（はんさい、獣を丸焼きにして神前に供える犠牲）といい、「焼く」という意味ですから、原爆投下は、本物のホロコーストであると言えます。
